Best Time to Water Your Plants

WHEN IT COMES TO WATERING YOUR PLANTS, KEEP IN MIND THE TIME OF DAY.

When is the best time to water your house plants?

We all want the best for our plant children. Watering your plants is the most important part of our weekly plant-care routine. Watering is essential in deciding whether our plants will grow, or call it quits. FYI, there is an ideal time to water your plants: in the morning!

Most plants like to drink up during the morning. They need to have water to be ready for when the sun shines in full force later in the day, and evaporates the water off. Watering in the morning is ideal for plants that don't get enough natural sunlight as they'd like. This is because the rays of light during the rest of the day evaporate the water, so they're not sitting in wet potting mix too long.

When misting (for plants that need misting, that is!) - it's best to mist during the morning and the evening. The morning is ideal to prepare them for the day, while the evening provides a little extra humidity.

Misting at night is great to give a little extra moisture to a plant that's finding it hard to live in a dry indoor environment.
