Sansevieria Zeylanica

Snake Plants are native to southern and central Africa. They're characterized by their swordlike leaves with vibrant yellow edges. In a study conducted by NASA, it was proven that snake plants purify indoor air by removing toxins. Snake plants btw, are a type of succulent. They're mistaken for being low light plants but actually, they're medium to bright light plants (they can tolerate, but do not thrive in low light). They're beginner plants, so they can miss a few waterings and tolerate low light & still look great!

 Plant Care

  • Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light.
  • Water every 3 - 4 weeks allowing soil to dry between waterings. Increase watering with increased light.

Bonus Tip:

They're amazing plants for the bedroom because they store oxygen during the day, then release it all at night, purifying the air.
